Meet the consultant:

Kristy Henson has been a pharmacist at Metcalf Pharmacy since 1999.  Since 2001 she has focused her full attention on women’s health, primarily hormone replacement.  Kristy’s heart is to help women understand what is “normal” hormonally, where they are in relation to that, and what steps can be taken to restore hormonal health.  Appointments are available for a one-on-one consultation with Kristy.  Labs are recommended.  (The kits are obtainable through Metcalf Pharmacy.)

Consult specifics:

If you are interested in a consult, please contact Metcalf Pharmacy for an appointment and a lab kit.  Phone consults are available if you are not in the local area.  The consult fee is $75.00 (approximately a one-hour consult).  Lab fees are separate and will be handled between you and the lab.  (The lab will file some insurance carriers.)

After the consult, Kristy will send your physician a letter of recommendation.  Once your physician responds, the lab will compound the prescription specifically for you.  (Hormone therapies are individualized for each patient.)
